Dr. George Middle

Dr. George Middle (1934-2021) passed away on Jan. 21 taken by COVID-19. Born in London, England, George moved to the United States 38 years ago and eventually moved to Canyon Lake where he lived for over 30 years.

George loved life to the fullest and never sat still. He was a member of many Canyon Lake clubs, including the Canyon Lake Community Theatre, Canyon Lake Choraleers, Toastmasters, Trusted Business Partners, tennis, golf, volleyball, bridge, poker and pool clubs. George attended the Revival Church, where in recent years he received so much comfort, joy and friendship.

An active member of the Canyon Lake community, George was president of the Lion’s Club for 11 years and enjoyed his involvement with the Canyon Lake Property Owner Association. He was also a past member of the Chambers of Commerce for Lake Elsinore, Menifee and Wildomar.

He was very much loved and will be missed by his children Elizabeth, David and Alison; close family, Chris, Jacqui and Annette; and grandchildren, Ryan, Thomas, Hannah, Amy, Louie and Nicholas.

Our thanks go to his good friends Gloria and Bill and all the other wonderful friends he had in Canyon Lake who are too many to mention. Thank you for the warm thoughts and memories that many of you have shared with us.

With regrets, because of COVID-19, at this time there will be no memorial service. This virus has no boundaries, please stay safe.
