Canyon Lake Holiday Home winners picked

Viewing some of Canyon Lake’s best-decorated homes may be just the perfect Christmas evening activity tonight and Holiday Home Group has made the journey easier. Addresses of the group’s winning entries are listed below by a panel of judges who chose the winning homes.

The winners of the First Annual Canyon Lake Holiday Home Facebook Group’s home decorating contest are:

Merry and Bright Award: 1st Place – 29835 Redwood, 2nd Place – 30461 Greenbriar and 3rd Place – 24074 Canyon Lake Dr. N.

Best “Canyon Lake Holidays” Award: 1st Place – 29805 Santa Maria, 2nd Place – 22893 Cove View and 3rd Place – 29195 Yosemite Place.

Best “Themed” Decorations Award: 1st Place – 22055 Mustang Ct./Disney Theme, 2nd Place – 22755 Gray Fox Dr/ Elf on the Shelf Theme and 3rd Place 22970 Canyon Lake Dr. S/ Merry Minion Christmas.

Prizes for each of the three judged categories were $150 Amazon gift card for 1st Place, $15 Amazon gift card for 2nd and 3rd Place.

Best Street Award: Mustang Court. Mustang Court will be receiving a summer block party.

Residents Choice Award: 29805 Santa Maria Dr. The Resident’s Choice was chosen through a Facebook Poll. The prize was a trophy and a $150 Amazon Gift Card.

Winners of the virtual Facebook poll for the Best Decorated Christmas Tree are 1st Place – Pamela Plavchak Oskey, 2nd Place – Mary Ellen Acuna Madrid and 3rd Place – Alexis Hymas. The 1st place winner received a trophy and a $150 Amazon Gift Card, while the 2nd and 3rd place winners received trophies.
