Over 40 turn out for CL clubs’ blood drive

Over 40 people donated blood at the recent tri-club blood drive hosted at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club on Monday. The Canyon Lake Ski Club, Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club, and the 9ers Golf Club organized the successful drive.

Partnering with the American Red Cross organization, the clubs were able to get the word out about the blood drive and the community responded. They said the majority of the individuals who donated had signed up and made appointments. Each donor received a coupon from Yogurtland and a coupon for a free entree from Wahoo’s Fish Taco restaurant. The next scheduled blood drive is set to be on Jan. 11.
