Bosom Buddies leader to be on Instagram Live

Janelle Basham, one of the leaders of Canyon Lake’s Bosom Buddies breast cancer support group, will be one of two featured speakers Monday on Instagram Live.

The interview is part of Dancers Against Cancer’s tribute to October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Janelle is a dance mom who battled breast cancer and wrote a book on how to talk to your children about cancer. Dancer Madison, an author whose mother had breast cancer, will join her for the 4:00 p.m. Instagram Live interview.

“Both of these ladies have so much to share about their experiences,” the Instagram announcement said. “We believe their stories will touch so many of your hearts!”

Both authors will be donating $1 from every book sale to Dancers Against Cancer.

Janelle and Kimberly (Kimbo) Slingerland head up Bosom Buddies and provide support for the many newly-diagnosed survivors.
