Letters: Stopping when I fell

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

On Monday, June 1, at around 9:30 a.m., I was out for a morning walk down Canyon Lake Dr. N when I slipped and fell on some silicone sand on the pavement. I hit my face and knee. I could not get up.

I sincerely want to thank from the bottom of my heart a wonderful lady on a golf cart who made a U-turn and another great couple who stopped to assist me until my husband came. I am very grateful for their help.

Shame on all of the cars that drove by me and did not stop to help me.
