Canyon Lake’s golf course lake taking shape

The 12-week project that began about a month ago is beginning to take shape at the Canyon Lake Golf Course. The existing lake near Hole 13 was leaking badly and keeping it filled was costly. The lake will not only look better, the Canyon Lake POA is expecting to save more than $80,000 on its annual water bill as a result of the remodeled lake. This large equipment is re-configuring the lake so it has natural sloping sides. When they are finished, a liner will be added and the bridge will be replaced with an earthen bridge.
