CL families get creative in celebrating Easter

With typical Easter activities shut down because of the COVID-19 lock down, families in Canyon Lake had to get creative to celebrate the holiday. There were no large extended-family dinners, no typical church services, and no neighborhood parties.

Instead, families figured out their own mode of worship or celebration. Many sent photos to The Friday Flyer to share their day. Some went on nature hikes. Others stayed in and dressed up to match the holiday. Most made sure their children had the typical Easter baskets and created an in-home Easter egg hunt.

Here are some of the many photos submitted.
