Canyon Lake Yacht Club

In accordance with the direction from Governor Newsom and the Canyon Lake POA, the Canyon Lake Yacht Club is cancelling the Canyon Lake Opening Day of Boating Season and Blessing of the Boats event scheduled for the afternoon of April 18.

The club said it hopes to reschedule this inaugural event for later in the year, but will follow the guidance from government and public health officials.

Canyon Lake Community Theater

The Canyon Lake Community Theater is making plans for after the current lockdown is lifted and it needs the community’s help.

The group is conducting a survey to see what shows those in the community would like to see it perform and produce in upcoming seasons. Stephanie Vecchione of the club said they would greatly appreciate everybody taking the six-question survey so they can provide shows the community would like to see. Canyon Lake Woman’s Club

Canyon Lake high school senior girls and women continuing their college education are encouraged to apply for scholarships being offered by the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club. Applicants must reside in Canyon Lake for at least six months prior to applying and have at least a 3.5 grade point average if currently attending college. Applicants should plan on a phone interview with the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club Scholarship Committee.
