10 Canyon Lake golfers win at SB&R golf tourney

Ten members of the Canyon Lake Women’s Golf Club were winners in the San Bernardino/Riverside Women’s Golf Association (SB&R) Tournament held in Menifee Feb. 27. Those 10 ladies accumulated 70 points for the club.

The tournament was hosted by Menifee Country and included 95 players from 10 different SB&R member clubs. A total of 23 Canyon Lake ladies played. Points are accumulated throughout the year with cash prizes paid out after the final tournament in November.

Canyon Lake Women’s Club members of all handicaps may join SB&R to play in these fun “stroke play” events. Events are hosted each month by a different member club. Upcoming SB&R Tournaments will be hosted on April 23 by Jurupa Hills, May 28 by Rancho Del Sol and June 25 by Dos Lagos.
