A charity golf tournament that has earned over $240,000 after 29 years of tournaments, is launching its 30th annual event next month. The Canyon Lake Lions Club is sponsoring its 30th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on April 30. Proceeds from the tournament will go to several great causes.

There will be two different games available. One will be a threesome with a Pro provided by Pat Kemball. The second game will be a four-person scramble. One of the prizes will be a golf cart for a golfer who gets a hole-in-one at Hole 11. The prize is sponsored by Canyon Golf Carts & Motorsports.

“We are always looking for current and additional new sponsors,” Lioness Nancy Coughlin said. “If you are interested in sponsoring, contact me at 951.805.0543. This is an excellent opportunity to advertise your business while helping others in need.”

To register for this tournament contact Pat Kemball at 951.246.1782. The cost for this tournament is $60.00 which includes a banquet dinner and awards. Golf fees are an additional $30.00 and the cart fee is $15.00. Entry forms are available at the Canyon Lake Pro Shop.

One of the Lion charities that will receive donations from the event is Guide Dogs of the Desert. The organization will have puppies along with their raisers at the Charity Golf Tournament this year. They will be at the Canyon Lake Club House between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Golfers are encouraged to come early to visit with the puppies and their raisers.

Donations from the tournament will also go to disaster relief all over the world. Many Canyon Lake organizations will also receive donations.
