EMWD offers customers free drip kits

EMWD is offering its customers free residential drip kits. The kits are designed to help convert up to 400 square feet of planter area from spray irrigation to drip irrigation, which can result in significant water savings in that area.

Each kit is valued at approximately $245 and there is a limit of two kits per residential account. The kits are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Converting to drip irrigation can save water, improve water efficiency, reduce run-off and reduce water loss to evaporation.

The drips are easy to install and are low maintenance. To apply for a kit, visit emwd.org/dripkit. All kits must be installed within 45 days or customers will be charged the full retail price on their water bills.
