CLMS cheer team wins championship title

The Canyon Lake Middle School competition cheer team won the CHEERpros California State Championship for the third consecutive year. The team competed against school and recreation teams from California on Jan. 18 at the Pasadena Convention Center where they won in the Jr. High Show Cheer Novice division and earned the Grand Champions title.

Coach and advisor Tammy Howard and coach Kendall Howard were recognized on stage and presented with trophies for being CHEERpros Coach of the Year and Advisor of the Year finalists.
