CoEd softball league seeking players for spring season

The Canyon Lake Sunday CoEd Softball League is seeking players ages 18 and older. The spring season starts Feb. 9. The registration deadline is Jan. 30.

Registration is $300 for a team of 10 players. The team fee is based on the number of teams registered. The individual fee is based on the number of players per team. To register, contact Gina Pinto at 858-829-6554.

Games are played on Sundays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Gault Field. Gina Pinto serves as league president, Gary Rauch serves as vice president and Amy Duffney serves as secretary and treasurer.

The league was founded by Michelle Sapp in 2008 so that parents of Little Leaguers could have a league of their own. There are approximately eight to 10 teams per season.
