Woman’s Club to host Paint and Sip event

The Woman’s Club is kicking off its 2020 Fashion Show pre-parties with a “Divas Through the Decades” Paint and Sip for Woman’s Club members and their guests on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. at the East Port Park Activities Room.

The cost is $40 and includes step-by-step instructions, a canvas, paint, beverages and appetizers. Attendees will leave the class with the painting they created.

Founded in 1972, the Woman’s Club is a non-profit, non-partisan, philanthropic service group dedicated to helping others less fortunate. The club holds several events throughout the year to raise money for local charities and for educational scholarships for girls and women who reside in Canyon Lake.

Monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Vendor hour starts at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m. and lunch is served at 12 p.m. Lunch is $14.
