Canyon Lake Kids Club celebrates Christmas

The Canyon Lake Kids Club had a busy month in December. The kids sang Christmas songs, read Christmas books and performed silly dances. Crafts included cotton ball snowmen, hand trees, pinecone reindeers and penguins the kids made with their footprints.

The Kids Club is currently on hiatus for Christmas break. Classes will resume on Jan. 14.

The Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack. The preschool learning-based program also includes field trips throughout the year.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Sunset Beach Room on the lower level of the lodge. The program is led by Christie Hall, Sarah Card and Rocio Triolo.

The cost is $2 per class. Those who purchase a 10-class punch card will receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class. For more information, email canyonlakekidsclub@gmail.com or visit the club’s Facebook page at Canyon Lake Kids Club.
