Karma is a playful two-year-old pit bull looking for a family to adventure with. Her caretakers said she is a smart dog who already knows some basic commands and is learning to be an excellent walker. She loves to run, play and go on adventures. She would make a great companion for a family with older children. Karma is spayed and ready to go to her “fur”ever home. Her intake number is 38630. Reference picture: Karma.

Biggie is a two-year-old floof looking for a roost to rule. His caretakers said he is a big ham who loves attention and love but needs to be the only cat in the home. Biggie needs to be neutered before being adopted. His reference number is 501601. Reference picture: Biggie.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore. Walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, call 951-674-7729 (SPAY) or 951-374-3491.
