Letter: Parade of Lights

The Yacht Club would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2019 Parade of Lights. There is a lot of time and effort spent by the participants decorating their boats. It is always fun to see all the parties and the excitement this event creates in the community.

I would also like to thank everyone in the Yacht Club who volunteered their time at an extremely busy time of the year. Special thanks to Co-Chairperson Cindy Cameron and Ron Wilbur. Special thanks to Jim Lange for lending his expert knowledge in this transition year of parade leadership.

Thank you, former winners Ted and Nancy Horton, Cindy Cameron and Paul Hawker for attending the parade workshops and lending your knowledge. Many of their tips were used in the Tips O’ The Day. I heard from a lot of people that the tips were very helpful.

This is a community event and the Yacht Club would appreciate the community’s feedback on how to make this a better event in the years to come.
