Local artists display work at CLAA Art Show

The Canyon Lake Art Association held its annual Art Show on Nov. 30 at the senior center. The show featured the works of local artists specializing in painting, drawing, digital art, photography, acrylic pour and other forms of art, a silent auction, art for sale and refreshments.

Formed in 1976, the Canyon Lake Art Association is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of promoting understanding and appreciation of the visual arts in the community, encouraging advanced study in the field of art and providing exhibits and programs for local artists.

Association meetings are held September through June on the fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the senior center and are highlighted with demonstrations and/or paintings. Membership is open to individuals ages 18 and older. For more information, contact Joanie Evarts at 951-454-0833.
