City Council appoints mayor, mayor pro tem

The Canyon Lake City Council reorganized during the December City Council Meeting and appointed Jordan Ehrenkranz to the mayor seat and Kasey Castillo to the mayor pro tem seat for the year 2020.

Mayor Ehrenkranz has been a member of the City Council for 11 years. This is his fourth term serving as the mayor of Canyon Lake. He was re-elected to the City Council in 2016. His term ends in 2020.

Prior to serving on the City Council, Mayor Ehrenkranz was elected to the POA Board of Directors where he served five years.

Mayor Pro Tem Castillo was elected to the City Council in November 2018. Her term ends in 2022.
