Britt, Hugo win Bassmasters tournament

Eleven boats participated in the monthly tournament hosted by the Bassmasters Club. With a total fish weight of 13.65 pounds, the team of Dale Britt and Kevin Hugo took first place. Chuck Moreno and Jim Wright came in second place with a total fish weight of 13.19 pounds. Travis Smith earned third place with five fish weighing a total of 13.02 pounds.

Dave Brittenham earned Big Fish of the Day with a bass weighing 7.62 pounds.

Teams have a limit of five fish. All fish are released back into the lake.

The Bassmasters Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club. Tournaments are typically held on the first Saturday of each month.
