CLAMS host ‘Country in the Park’

More than 80 CLAMS members and their guests attended the club’s “Country in the Park” event on the evening of Oct. 16 at Holiday Harbor Park. The event featured a catered dinner by Swamp Daddy’s BBQ, live entertainment by Mark Houston and the Working Men, dancing and a 50/50 drawing won by Daryl France.

“The weather was perfect, the barbecue was delicious and the band rocked it,” said CLAMS Vice President Mark Inkrote.

Proceeds from this event go toward the CLAMS philanthropic projects. Save the date for the club’s next event, a golf tournament fundraiser, on Mar. 7, 2020.

The CLAMS is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. The club raises money to help those in need locally.

Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising and fun times. Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November.
