Woman’s Club to host Witches Afternoon Tea

Women in the community are invited to enjoy an afternoon tea and lunch tomorrow, Oct. 19, at the senior center. Hosted by the Woman’s Club, the 2nd annual Witches Afternoon Tea features lunch, a no-host bar, palmists, readers and crystal ball gazers for enjoyment, vendors selling themed items and an opportunity drawing for Halloween and Thanksgiving-themed prizes.

The lunch menu consists of sandwiches, quiche, an assortment of French desserts and champagne.

There will be a Cackling Contest and prizes for the Chicest Witch Hat and Most Glamorous Witch Hat. Local entertainer Aprile DeAnne will serve as emcee and provide the entertainment during lunch.

Doors open at 11 a.m. Tea and lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Witch costumes are not mandatory but are encouraged.
