The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild will wrap up its 2019 season with a Neil Diamond tribute concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Tickets are sold out.

Entertainer Jay White has taken on the persona of one of the world’s best-loved musical icons, Neil Diamond, for the past 25 years. Jay appeared as Neil Diamond in the movie “Frost/Nixon” and with Neil on his DVD Box Set, Stages.

“Jay’s Neil Diamond tribute act has headlined the Las Vegas Strip for eight years, which is the longest ever by a solo tribute artist,” said Fine Arts Guild President Ron Martel. “His nine-year run with Legends in Concert is also unequaled. After more than 9,000 performances, the Guild is thrilled to have Jay White return to Canyon Lake.”

With 38 songs in the Top 10 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts, Neil Diamond has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

Jay will be performing some of Neil’s all-time favorites: “Sweet Caroline,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Longfellow Serenade,” “If You Know What I Mean,” “Desiree,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “America” and “Yesterday Songs.”

Tickets for the Fine Arts Guild’s 2020 season go on sale Oct. 20 and can be purchased at canyonlakeguild.org. General Admission tickets can be purchased at the POA office. VIP tickets cost $45, General Admission tickets cost $25.

In addition to its four 2020 concerts at the lodge, the Fine Arts Guild will be hosting two free summer concerts for the community at the amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park. Motown Night is scheduled for June 20 and a Journey tribute concert will be held on Aug. 1.
