Lioness Club fundraiser features festive glass blocks

The Canyon Lake Lioness Club members are selling decorative holiday and special occasion glass blocks to raise money for several charities that promote the club’s mission of eradicating blindness around the world. The glass blocks cost $25 each and include LED lights and a battery pack.

The American Veteran Thrift Store received the glass blocks from Kathleen Morey then donated them to the Canyon Lake Lioness club for its latest fundraiser.

The blocks may be customized for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and special occasions. Some of the blocks are displayed at the lodge, library and a few local merchants and will be available for purchase at the Holiday Boutique on Nov. 9 and 10 at the senior center.
