Flags honoring vets to be displayed in Field of Honor

The Canyon Lake Veterans Day Committee invites the community to honor a veteran with a personalized flag in the Field of Honor at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Canyon Lake Towne Center.

Each American flag bears a yellow ribbon with the name of the honored veteran on it. The cost is $10 per flag. Flags are available for purchase at Pack, Wrap and Post in the Towne Center. The last day to purchase a flag is Nov. 1.

The Veterans Day Committee and community volunteers will be placing the flags in the park on Nov. 9 where they will remain until Nov. 15. Those who wish to pick up their flags and take them home may do so between Nov. 12 and Nov. 15.
