Clinic teaches CL adults the basics of tennis

Canyon Lake’s tennis pro Pete Walrod is hosting Introduction of Tennis clinics every Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the tennis courts. The free clinics are for Canyon Lake adults who have not played or taken lessons in Canyon Lake in the past five years. To sign up, text 818-397-3806. Tennis racquets and balls will be provided. Athletic attire is required.

Participants are also invited to attend Pete’s Stroke of the Week clinic every Friday from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Each week Pete will teach a new tennis stroke. This clinic is for adults only.

The Tennis Club holds social play on Mondays and Fridays at 9 a.m. Social play is a free activity open to all levels of players and is a great way to meet other players without committing to a schedule.
