Don Schorr, a 10-year resident of Canyon Lake, and his son Ken of Anaheim Hills participated in the annual conference of the Little Big Horn Associates (LBHA) June 26 through June 29 in Sheridan, Wyoming. Both men are members of LBHA.

During the conference, the father and son visited additional western sites with historic value, including Fort Phil Kearney, the site of the Fetterman Massacre and the site of the Wagon Box Fight; all events part of our 19th Century Plains Indian Wars.

The LBHA is dedicated to the life and times of General George Armstrong Custer in particular and related events in general, meeting annually at a different location significant in Custer’s life. Next year’s conference will be held at West Point in New York and in 2021 at Fort Abraham Lincoln, in Mandan, North Dakota.
