Father and son visit China

Canyon Lake resident Jesse Beecher recently traveled to China for an annual business trip.

It’s a trip he has made twice a year for the past 12 years. This year, Jesse was joined by his 11-year-old son Keegan.

During their 10-day trip, Jesse and Keegan visited Shanghai, China’s biggest city, Ningbo, home to the 1516 landmark Tian Yi Ge, Shenzhen, a modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to China’s mainland, and Hong Kong, a major port and global financial hub with a skyscraper-studded skyline.

Father and son toured factories, where Keegan was able to see how TV screens, power banks and various types of bags are made, and viewed Shanghai from the top of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai Tower, the second tallest building in the world.

Traveling on the same flight back to the U.S. was Frank Grillo, who Keegan recognized from the Avengers movies. Frank treated Keegan to a hug and a photo.
