Not Just 4 Paws offers JustFoodForDogs

Fresh, human-grade food for pets has arrived in Canyon Lake. JustFoodForDogs has opened a pantry inside Not Just 4 Paws Animal Hospital located in the Towne Center.

“JustFoodForDogs is the first pet food brand to create fresh, human-grade food for pets in open-to-the-public kitchens and the only offering on the market proven healthy by multiple independent university studies,” said JustFoodForDogs Chief Medical Officer Dr. Oscar Chavez.

“We are thrilled to now be able to offer our patients and animal-loving neighbors the most nutritional food for pets available,” said Dr. Laura Searle Barnes, owner of Not Just 4 Paws. “To be able to provide food made from whole-food ingredients on-site at our practice is an incredible benefit for pet parents,” she added.

JustFoodForDogs has an extensive line of daily diets, as well as the only prescription meals made from USDA ingredients certified for human consumption for pets with health challenges.

The JustFoodForDogs pantry inside Not Just 4 Paws carries the full line of meals for dogs as well as cats, along with supplements and treats. The pantry is staffed by a veterinary-trained nutritional consultant who will work directly with the medical team at the hospital and pet parents to ensure each patient receives the ideal formulation for their furry loved ones.

Six whole-food recipes are available for healthy dogs, including Beef and Russet Potato, Chicken and White Rice, Fish and Sweet Potato, Lamb and Brown Rice, Turkey and Whole Wheat Macaroni and Venison and Squash, along with limited-time seasonal specials such as bison or pork.

For dogs with challenged health, the company developed a line of veterinary support diets designed to meet key nutritional factors that support dogs with cancer, diabetes, kidney or liver disease, obesity, dermatoses, food or environmental allergies and more.

Additionally, the 10-doctor veterinary team creates custom diets for dogs and cats with multiple health issues or complex needs.

To complement the healthy diets and snacks, supplements designed by the company’s board-certified veterinary toxicologist round out total pet wellness.

The supplements address many of the most common ailments found in dogs, from enhancing calm behavior to helping with joint disease, skin conditions, allergies and inflammatory conditions.
