Letter: Thank you

I am writing to say thank you to the amazing network of people in Canyon Lake.

Over the last 30 plus years of living here, I have supported, assisted, friended and loved this city. Over the past four months, our beautiful community’s support of me has been priceless.

Due to a hip replacement then complications of my surgery, I have had multiple setbacks over the past four months. My previously active lifestyle was reduced to having difficulty with daily tasks and functions.

The support, friendship, assistance and generosity I have received throughout this difficult time has been a godsend. My friends, family and community peers stepped up and supported me in so many ways. Whether it was help with my trash cans, my mail, meals, groceries, a ride, help with my pets, or even just to keep me company, your graciousness has not gone unnoticed.

I am so grateful for your friendships and the true sense of community that we have here in Canyon Lake. I could try to name you all personally, but there are truly so many of you that I would be afraid to miss someone.

Thank you friends and family of Canyon Lake. There is no better place to live!
