Homeowners can expect increase in dues

At Tuesday’s POA Board of Directors Meeting, the board approved to increase the 2019/2020 annual assessments to $3012, increasing the monthly dues by $15.

The board also approved the annual Budget and the Schedule of Fees for the 2019/2020 Fiscal Year beginning May 1, funding in the amount of $40,000 for the 2019 4th of July fireworks show and $4,116.82 for a new propane dispenser system at Happy Camp, which will allow residents to fill their propane tanks without having to leave the community.

The daily 18-hole golf rates will increase from $35 to $37 and a non-resident surcharge of $5 will be added to all non-resident play options.

The board approved the 30 day reading to add rule GR.4.5a.8. and GR.4.5b.8., which prohibits political and POA elections signs from being placed in the street, on vehicles, on golf carts, or on trailers and on POA common ground.

Outrigger Park and Evans Park were approved as additional on-leash dog parks.
