The Canyon Lake Choraleers invite the community to attend their annual Spring Concert this Sunday, May 21 at 3 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Doors open at 2:30.

Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased from any member of the Choraleers, at Member Services at the POA or at the door, subject to availability.

Choraleers President Larry Garland said residents won’t want to miss this year’s concert. “This year’s show will be an audio visual experience that we’ve never done before,” he said.

This year’s theme, “Reel Music,” pays tribute to Hollywood Motion Pictures and Academy Award winners from 1935 to 2017. The Choraleers will be presenting classic songs from Academy Award winning and nominated movies including “Singing in the Rain,” “Moon River,” “In Summer” from Frozen and “Everybody Rejoice” from the Wiz.

During intermission prizes will be raffled off and the Choraleers will present its $500 student scholarship for the arts to the recipient.
