Letter: Greene and Bonner

Larry Greene is the perfect candidate for the Canyon Lake City Council right now. He has the skill set that we need. He has experience in working with fire and police departments and getting cities together to problem solve for mutual advantage.

Larry has a quiet demeanor (he thinks before he talks) and is a team player. He has a wealth of contacts in other cities to draw upon, plus he is ready to get the Southwest Riverside County cities working together on common issues, as we did years ago. He has the best experience to get our fire and police issues handled in our City’s best interests

Larry has lived in Canyon Lake for 39 years. Since his retirement, he has devoted much time to the Canyon Lake Emergency Preparedness Committee and was recently elected president. Over this time, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him and found him to be very reliable. He has also taught the new CPR to several clubs and groups.

I also endorse Randy Bonner for City Council. We worked very closely together when we were both on the City Council. He also worked well with the POA, other cities and agencies. I know him and trust him. Randy is honest, straightforward and has no hidden agendas. He has only the best interest of Canyon Lake and its residents at heart. His major fault is that he doesn’t give himself credit for all the good he does. It was a pleasure to serve with him.
