Letters: Go Blue!

Support Law Enforcement – Go Blue! Our Law Enforcement officers are under siege in many parts of our country. Several years ago there was a campaign to show support for Law Enforcement by displaying an exterior “Blue Light.” I think it’s time we revive this campaign.

I encourage residents of Canyon Lake to do as I have and place a “Blue Light” in one of your exterior lights, visible from the street. Let’s show those who serve and protect us that we appreciate what they do. Please join with me! Blue light bulbs are available at Joe’s Hardware in Canyon Hills, True Value (Newport and Murrieta Rd.) and Lowe’s in Menifee. Joe’s Hardware and True Value have the best prices and supply, both under $4.

Also, the Men’s Golf Club has asked its members to wear blue on Wednesdays for the next month. Maybe this will catch on.
