Ed and Sandy Fair take pride in dog show wins

Ed and Sandy Fair, longtime residents of Canyon Lake, say they had a wonderful experience on July 25, when their International Champion/American Champion Silver Level Karmel’s Fairspride Lord Jasper, a Bichon Frise male dog, who turned 3 on September 7, won Reserve “Best in Show” at the Lompoc Valley Kennel Club Dog Show in Lompoc, California. Lord Jasper has continued to win more shows since then.

Jasper became a champion a few days after turning 8 months of age and was undefeated in Non-Sporting Puppy Group, winning six in a row. Sandy says he went on to receive his Grand Championship, then Bronze and Silver Levels and now is well on his way to Gold Level. During this time he also became an International Champion.

Jasper also continues to advance in the top 10 of all categories of Top National USA Standings, while at the same time he and the Fairs’ International Champion/American Grand Champion Fairspride Gimme Some Sugar female Bichon Frise are producing some beautiful puppies. Some already are attaining points toward their championships.

One of Jasper and Gimme Some Sugar’s daughters, Fairspride Amazing Journey Back to Blanca’s, is also a Grand Champion and has national rankings competing against her mom and dad.

Ed and Sandy say that since they both are retired, they are enjoying traveling to a variety of dog shows at different locations throughout California, Arizona and Nevada.

They offer special kudos to their professional handlers, Joe and Dorinne Waterman, “who have done an outstanding job showing their Bichons.”
