9ers share ‘paradise’

On February 19, the Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club shared “a little bit of paradise” with some Canadian “snowbirds” – people who travel south for the winter. The 28 ladies had a fun-filled day of golf followed by lunch at the Country Club.

Spokesperson Kathy Sanchez says, “The Canadian golfers were in awe of our beautiful community and golf course, not to mention our 80-degree weather. We are hoping they will migrate our way again next year.”

She adds, “If you are looking to get outdoors and enjoy this paradise we live in, come join the 9ers Golf Club. We are very low-key and welcome players of all levels, even those just starting out.” Meet in the Magnolia Room at 9:30 a.m. and tee off at 10.
