Dozens and dozens to hold garage sales this weekend

Garage sales are up and down almost every street in Canyon Lake tomorrow and Sunday as the Canyon Lake POA has opened up the community to garage sales without needing to obtain the usual permits.

The garage sales are everywhere and should be easy to find, but to make an organized attempt at the two-day event, go the the CLPOA.com website and look for Events and then Community Garage Sale and click on the two maps. The sales on the maps dot the community.

The community garage sale not only provides an excellent opportunity for residents to declutter and refresh their living spaces, but also acts as a social event that brings neighbors together in a festive and productive environment. And the bargains! Bring out the quarters.

It’s important for participants to adhere to Canyon Lake POA guidelines, including the removal of all items from the front lot by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Failure to comply with these rules may result in violations.

Residents interested in hosting garage sales on dates other than this weekend must obtain a separate garage sale permit and follow all relevant Rules & Regulations.
