Canyon Lake election ballots mailed for annual election, meeting

Homeowners eligible to vote in the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association Annual Meeting and Election of Directors for the 2024-2025 term have received their ballots which were mailed on Monday. The Canyon Lake POA emphasizes the importance of member participation in this election process, which plays a crucial role in shaping the community’s future.

Ballots can be returned via mail, with May 8 being the last recommended day for mailing to ensure ballots reach the POA offices on time. Alternatively, a ballot box will be available at Blue Bird Hall for drop-offs.

For those who prefer to hand in their ballots on the day of the election, a final opportunity will be provided on May 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

In preparation for the election, the Canyon Lake POA has organized a Meet the Candidates Forum, scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Lodge. Hosted by the Senior Work Group, this event invites all members to meet the two candidates vying for the two positions on the board. It represents an invaluable chance to gain insight into the candidates’ views, policies, and visions for Canyon Lake, including their stances on the ballot measures.

Members are urged to participate actively in the election process by returning their ballots. The collective voice of the community will guide the selection of Board Directors and the outcome of ballot measures, ultimately influencing the direction and priorities of Canyon Lake in the coming year.
