Community Theater holding auditions for Disney’s Tarzan

Canyon Lake Community Theater is excited to present Disney’s Tarzan as its spring production, with performances scheduled for May 9, 10, and 11 at the Indian Beach stage. The theater is seeking performers aged 10 years through adults to bring this captivating story to life.

Auditions for Tarzan are set for March 3, at 1:00 p.m., starting with a dance choreography audition. Prospective cast members must attend from the start to participate in the dance portion, which is crucial for casting decisions.

Tumbling skills are highly encouraged for this dynamic production. Attendees should dress comfortably and be prepared for movement.

Following the dance auditions, vocal auditions will take place. Participants are asked to prepare a one-minute, upbeat karaoke-style song and bring their music, which can be played through the theater’s speakers or on personal devices.

Callbacks for lead roles will occur on the same day, with some participants being asked to remain at the auditions until as late as 5:00 p.m.

A club membership fee of $10.00 is required, and a production fee of $100.00 for the first family member, with $50.00 for each additional member, will cover rights fees, costuming, sets, and tech, ensuring a spectacular show for both performers and the Canyon Lake community.
