YOP-C members volunteer monthly at Helping Hands

In the spirit of community service, members of the Canyon Lake Young Old People’s Club (YOP-C) are actively contributing to the local non-profit organization, Helping Hands, by packing groceries for needy seniors. This group of good friends not only shares a bond, but also a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.

On the second Saturday of each month, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., YOP-C volunteers gather at Helping Hands‘ location at 31877 Corydon #110 in Lake Elsinore. Their efforts are part of a broader initiative to support seniors in need, ensuring they have access to essential groceries. This volunteer work is not only about giving back, but also about the joy and fulfillment that comes from helping others.

Helping Hands shows its appreciation for the volunteers by providing hot coffee, donuts, and a warm fire pit, making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. The YOP-C group looks forward to their monthly volunteer day, filled with laughter and the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause.

The club invites more community members to join them in this rewarding experience. Being part of the YOP-C volunteer group is an opportunity to make a difference while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow club members.

For those interested in participating, the next volunteer opportunity will be on March 9, a perfect chance to be included in the YOP-C group photo and be part of a community that cares.
