Pickleball Club holds Winter Tournament

The Canyon Lake Pickleball Club recently held its winter tournament, witnessing an enthusiastic participation of 32 competitors. The event was not only about fierce competition, but also about community and enjoyment.

The Pickleball Club ensured that great food was available, adding to the day‘s festive atmosphere. The friendly, yet competitive, spirit of the matches was a highlight, with players showcasing their skills and teamwork.

The players were strategically divided into four teams, each comprising five men and three women. The format of the tournament involved each team playing four matches, with the collective highest score determining the winners.

The winning team was captained by Farzad Adib and included members Margaret Little, Teri Cherry, Will Thomason, Andy Quinn, Mike Bowers, Stacie Mungo, and Jalen Batts. This victory marked a first tournament win for several members of the team, making the achievement even more significant.
