Bassmasters Club honors its best 2023 anglers

Keneti Faagata was named Angler of the Year at the Canyon Lake Bassmasters annual awards banquet Saturday at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Keneti also caught the largest bass of the 2023 season, a whopping 10.82-pound fish. Second Place for Angler of the Year went to Steve Baker and Third Place went to Mark White. The Sportsman of the Year was Rich Blay. The club holds monthly fishing tournaments for its members.
