CL Woman’s Club taught about skin care

The first meeting of the year for The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club proved to be a favorite among attendees. Liz Ireland, a medical aesthetician from Foxy Faces at Canyon Lake Hair Design, shared valuable insights with the women about skin care as they age and emphasized the importance of protecting the skin from the sun’s damaging rays in Canyon Lake.

Liz discussed the changes in facial products since the COVID-19 era, noting that it was challenging to see an aesthetician during that time. As a result, many excellent products were introduced to drug stores and places like Ulta, making skincare more affordable.

She guided the women through the steps of applying daytime and nighttime facial products, highlighting the importance of choosing the right sunscreen and understanding when to reapply it. Given the prevalent issue of dry skin during this time of the year, Liz emphasized the significance of using serums and moisturizers. The meeting featured a raffle with prizes provided by Liz and a vendor, Authentic by Tracey, who showcased new fashions and accessories. Following the meeting, 58 women enjoyed a pasta buffet at the Canyon Lake Country Club.

Upcoming events include the Galentine Bunco with limited seating. The cost to participate in the event is $40.00 and features a baked potato bar, desserts, and wine. The Galentine Bunco takes place Feb. 10, at 11:00 a.m. For reservations contact Pam at 951-640-7521.
