Chilly Bass Tournament

Kevin Hugo and Casey Engel hold up the bass they caught for first place in the Canyon Lake Bassmasters first tournament of the year. Their catch weighed in at 20.97 pounds. The temperature at the Saturday morning launch was 32 degrees and it took a while for the ice to melt away on the deck. Taking second place was Joe Merrill and Steve Oskey with 17.43 lbs. and third place went to Steve Baker and Greg Szuba at 14.91 lbs. Kirk Beardsley caught the largest fish of the tournament with a 4.94 pounder.
