Chamber kicks off New Year with networking events

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce has commenced the new year with enthusiasm, hosting two notable events: a Speed Networking event and a Business Roundtable Breakfast. These gatherings are part of the Chamber’s commitment to fostering growth and connections among its members.

The Chamber held a Speed Networking event at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina on Monday evening. The event saw 22 attendees, who seized the opportunity to network and enhance their business prospects. Those who registered early benefited from a discount by scanning a QR code for tickets.

The first Thursday of every month marks the Chamber’s Business Roundtable, held at the Magnolia Room in Canyon Lake Country Club from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

The roundtable sessions are designed to offer valuable insights from guest speakers and provide networking opportunities for members.

During the first roundtable of the year, Chamber President John Grande announced that the Chamber Business of the Month was being awarded to Massage by Leanna. Leanna Marlowe, the owner, was recognized for her active participation in Chamber events and her contributions to the community. In her address, Leanna expressed gratitude for the honor and shared insights about her business.

The roundtable also allowed each member to introduce their business and discuss their aspirations for the upcoming year. This platform served as an excellent opportunity for local businesses to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections.

The Chamber of Commerce’s initiatives are geared towards enhancing the business environment in Canyon Lake.
