Ski Club to host ‘Pictures with Santa’ tomorrow

The Canyon Lake Water Ski Club is hosting its charming annual “Pictures with Santa” event tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the North Ski Area Pavilion. Cookies will be given to all kids at the event to decorate.

Aimed at bringing festive cheer to the community, especially its younger members, this event is a delightful addition to the holiday calendar.

Santa Claus is slated to arrive by boat at the North Ski Area Pavilion at 9:00 a.m., offering a unique and enchanting start to the festivities. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and take part in a fun cookie decorating activity.

Each child in attendance will be given an individually-wrapped cookie to decorate with provided supplies, such as icing and sprinkles. This interactive and creative activity is sure to be a hit among the young attendees.

Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture these special moments against the picturesque backdrop of Canyon Lake. Santa’s Helpers will be on hand to ensure the event runs smoothly and that everyone has an enjoyable experience.

“This traditional event is part of Canyon Lake Ski Club history and makes a great holiday memory,” Debra Sacks said. “This is our way of saying ‘Happy Holidays to all’.”

This free event is open to the entire community, providing an ideal setting for families to come together and celebrate the season. The Water Ski Club is excited to continue this beloved tradition and to share the joy of the holiday with the Canyon Lake community.
