Firefighters to host ‘Donuts with Santa,’ Toy Drive

The Canyon Lake Fire Department is set to spread holiday cheer with its “Donuts with Santa” event on Dec. 16, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Canyon Lake Fire Department Station 1 on Vacation Drive. This family-friendly event offers a chance for the community to celebrate the festive season together.

At this special gathering, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa Claus, with Engine 1 serving as a festive backdrop. The event will feature delicious donuts, hot cocoa, and coffee for everyone to enjoy.

In addition, children can participate in crafting activities in Santa’s workshop, enhancing the holiday experience.

This event is free to all residents, and the Canyon Lake Fire Department extends a warm invitation to the community to join in the festivities and interact with their local firefighters.

In conjunction with the festivities, the Fire Department is also supporting the Spark of Love Toy Drive for the second year. After successfully collecting hundreds of toys last year, they aim to surpass that this year.

Community members attending the “Donuts with Santa” event are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment to donate. While not mandatory for event participation, these donations will greatly benefit local children and teenagers in Canyon Lake and surrounding areas, helping spread holiday joy.

Toy donations will be accepted at the fire station until Dec. 24. The Fire Department appreciates the community’s support in this endeavor and extends its gratitude for any contributions to the toy drive.
