Canyon Lake Ski Club to host annual Santa event

The Canyon Lake Water Ski Club will host a festive “Pictures with Santa” event on Dec. 9, from 9:00 a.m. to noon., at the North Ski Area Pavilion. This family-friendly gathering invites community members to bring their children for a memorable holiday experience.

Santa Claus is scheduled to make a grand entrance by boat at the North Ski Area Pavilion at 9:00 a.m., where he will meet and greet the local children. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes with Santa, participate in cookie decorating, and capture a special moment with a photo.

Each child in attendance will be given an individually wrapped cookie to decorate on-site, enhancing the holiday spirit of the gathering.

Santa will boat on over to the North Area Ski Pavilion on Dec. 9 to great Canyon Lake’s children, have a chat and pose with kids and families for photos. Also, children will be given cookies to decorate at the event. Friday Flyer File Photo

The club will provide icing and sprinkles, allowing children to unleash their creativity while decorating their cookies.

Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take advantage of the scenic lake backdrop for their photos. Santa’s Helpers will be present to ensure the event runs smoothly and everyone enjoys their time.

“This traditional event is part of Canyon Lake Ski Club history and makes a great holiday memory,” Debra Sacks of the Ski Club said. “This is our way of saying ‘Happy Holidays to all’.”

The event is free and open to the entire community and provides a perfect opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in a unique and delightful way.
