Yacht Club honors veterans with final 2023 club cruise

The Canyon Lake Yacht Club commemorated Veteran’s Day with a special event to honor veterans, marking the club’s last official cruise of the year. The day was graced with beautiful sunny skies and autumn warmth, with temperatures in the mid-80s, creating the perfect backdrop for the celebration.

Members and guests of the Yacht Club convened at the newly-opened Holiday Harbor Guest Docks for an afternoon of camaraderie, remembrance, and appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans. The docks buzzed with activity as attendees shared food, enjoyed beverages, and mingled in a relaxed setting.

The event was led by Paul Hawker, a well-respected member of the Yacht Club known for organizing several successful cruises and events throughout the year. His leadership contributed significantly to the success of this final cruise of the year.
