Family Matters Club invites kids to craft

Monster Spray will be on the agenda for this month’s craft at the Canyon Lake Family Matters Club monthly meet up Sept. 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastport building.

Canyon Lake kids of all ages are invited to the craft-making event where they will create their very own Monster Spray.

“With October just on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to gear up against the spooky season,” Club Founder Shawna Bowen said. “Little ones will have the chance to personalize their bottles, fill them with a gentle repellant (water), and select their preferred scent.”

A spread of delectable snacks and delightful surprises will be served up to those who attend, Shawna said.

The club meets the last Saturday of each month to conduct business and socialize, but to also have a theme where families create a craft or participate in an activity.

The meeting begins with social time, followed by a meeting at 1:30 p.m. before the craft time begins at 2:00 p.m.
